Cinque Terre Park Board of Directors

During the meeting of the Park’s Board of Directors, €565,000 were allocated for the trail network and for the safeguard of territory and agriculture

On Thursday, 30th November, the Park Authority’s Board of Directors met at the Park offices in Manarola. During the meeting, the 2017 budget was modified to allocate €260,000 for landscape restoration, improvement of the trails and terraces, and better use of the Cinque Terre territory.

Further €105,000 were allocated for agricultural policies and restoration of environmentally degraded areas, and €200,000 for ordinary maintenance and prevention and safety works.

Moreover, €120,000 were destined for Cinque Terre’s three municipalities, to be used for safety-related projects.

 

These newly available amounts are to be added to the funds already agreed upon during the Cinque Terre Park’s board meeting No 12/2017 held on 13th November 2017.
