VIVI il PARCO: east paths (6^ proposal)

After 5 proposals with departure from the hamlets of Cinque Terre, this week the Park suggests 3 trekking proposals starting from Colle del Telegrafo or Fossola.

(Manarola - Sede Parco Cinque Terre, 30 May 2018)

An atmosphere beyond the time, among holm oaks, chestnuts, strawberry trees and other shrubs of the Mediterranean vegetation. Among the ruins of ancient settlements and cultivated vineyards. Itineraries from 1.30, 2.30 or 4 hours, depending on the time available and the degree of preparation, in one of the most suggestive places of Cinque Terre National Park.

VIVI IL PARCO: FROM COLLE DEL TELEGRAFO AND FOSSOLA

Departure: Colle Telegrafo, Monesteroli
Mean of transportation to reach the starting point: Bus (free with Cinque Terre Card) 
from Riomaggiore: 7.00 (weekend from Monesteroli), 7.40 (holiday for Monesteroli), 9.20 (Monesteroli and Telegrafo) from Telegrafo to Riomaggiore: 16.30 (arrival to Riomaggiore at 17)

How much time do you have?
1 hour 30" (GREEN trail):
Departure from Colle del Telegrafo. From here you take the Alta Via delle Cinque Terre towards Portovenere. Once arrived in S. Antonio, go along on your right and take the path 504. After a stretch in the wood, reach the Fountain of Nozzano, a particular point of interest built in the Napoleonic era. From here, return following the same path until Colle Telegrafo.

2 hours 30" (ORANGE trail): It starts from the parking of Fossola/Monesteroli along the provincial road 370. You go up until Sant'Antonio, you could also visit the Angelo Custode Church. From here, take the Alta Via delle Cinque Terre towards Telegrafo and then take the 530C deviation near the Bramapane junction. Take the descent along the "Scala Santa" and take the path 530 along it up to Colle del Telegrafo. From here follow the path 537 up to the junction with the provincial road on Borgo di Campi, bus stop (return to Riomaggiore - 16.42, 18.18, 19.10).

4 hours (BLUE trail): Departure from Colle del Telegrafo towards Portovenere, deviation on the path 504 and then descent until the junction with the path 536 towards Monesteroli.
For the most fitted, you could descend until Monesteroli by a demanding downhill staircase.
Go up to the common trail of the paths 535 and 536 and then descend along the path 504 towards Schiara. After a short visit of the little hamlet, take the 504C towards Campiglia, reachable after a demanding downhill staircase and a trait of the path 535.
Once arrived in Campiglia, follow the AV5T path towards Sant'Antonio, Colle del Telegrafo.
