SVA path update: reopening of the section Vernazza-Corniglia
The stretch of the Vernazza-Corniglia path is now accessible again. This follows the reconstruction of the collapsed dry-stone wall and the restoration of the handrail by the Park trail maintainers
(Sede Parco Cinque Terre, 21 January 2022)The Park trail maintainers reconstructed the collapsed dry-stone wall of about 3 meters in Macereto and restored the handrail, thereby the stretch closed on January 6th can now be accessed again.
The reopening of the path was ordered with the revocation of the Mayoral Order no. 2/2022 of the Municipality of Vernazza, no. 3 of January 20, 2022.
