After the crossroads with SP51, the trail begins by a small bridge on the Groppo stream; it passes by a roadside shrine and water supply point on the left and, shortly afterwards, by the point of departure of Trail 502 to Sella di Monte Galera on the right. The trail goes through the tiny village of Groppo and then goes around it, leading north; it crosses orchards, fields and olive groves, and leads to a crossroads by a small rural building. A flight of steps through cultivated land leads again to SP51. Cross the road and take another flight of steps that goes up, first through cultivated and then through wild land. The trail ends at the crossroads with the asphalted stretch of Trail 530 (Via dei Santuari), with which it has a short stretch in common, up through the wood, until intersecting Trail 506 Manarola - Monte Marvede.
