The entire route is open to vehicles and follows the street called "dei Santuari" (meaning "of the Sanctuaries") from its southern end by the Colle del Telegrafo AV5T, a locality reachable through an asphalted road and equipped with accommodation facilities, up to Volastra. In the locality of Telegrafo it is possible to view a copy of the Lapis Terminalis: the sandstone stele with engravings representing chapels and crosses which was discovered here by Ubaldo Mazzini in 1923 and is now kept within the Civic Museum of La Spezia.
