On foot         Great Interest: Flora Great Interest: Hystory
  • Forward time:   45 minutes
  • Return time: 1 hour/s 25 minutes
  • Difficulty Level: E - Hiking (level)
  • Length: 1.164 km
  • Difference in height: 304m

The starting point of the trail is located near the church of Sant'Antonio, in the vicinity of Telegrafo hill, a main junction of trails originating from La Spezia as well as from the western hillside (such as 504 to Schiara), and the AV5T. Besides the small church of Saint Anthony there is a picnic area with wooden tables and a bar. The trail originates in front of the picnic area and descends down a well-kept cobbled muletrack, passing through a wood of chestnut and pine trees and, lower down on Costa dell'Angelo, through more sparse Mediterranean vegetation.

Nearby a group of houses in the place called Casotti, a fork leads to the now impassable trail alternative to 535. Further on, the muletrack reaches the hamlet of Fossola, which is also connected to SS 370 by paved road. Just below the small chapel of the Guardian Angel there is the ending point of trail 535 from Campiglia that, together with trail 504, offer the hikers different itinerary solutions around the area of Tramonti. The last stretch of trail 534, that would descend to the sea, is now closed due to landslides.
