The path begins in the built-up area of Levanto, and it branches off from the road open to vehicles in the same point where also the path 572 begins. Its first stretch runs along the Villa Clelia B&B, then it turns into a mule track and enters the country. It climbs among the cultivated areas by the coast of the Forche Mount, until it reaches the vineyards on the ridge. The mule track climbs the Supramare Coast, which is characterized by the olive groves. Once crossed a pinewood it reaches a flat area in Colla dei Bagari, an intersection point with the paths 591 and 572.
