530c Bramapane - Cava (Scala Santa)

Trail 530C divides from the AV5T at the fork Bivio Bramapane, and descends down the sandstone stairway called Scala Santa (Holy Stairway). The old pilgrimage way leads to the abandoned quarry named Schiappacasse, from where hikers can enjoy an unusual sight of Riomaggiore. A dirt track shortly connects the quarry to the place called Cerricò, where it meets trail 530.
