Route 571 (former 15+16) C. Massola - Graft of the route 591 (Mesco)
The route 571 has its lower end in the same point where the path 591 (Sentiero Verde-Azzurro), from Levanto to Mesco, climbs an asphalted road at an altitude of 163 m. In this case the road must be walked backwards, towards Levanto, for about 200 m, up to take a fork on the right, which is a dirt service road of C.Massola and C.Faraggiana situated above. Once passed the last houses and some hairpin turns, one reaches a quiet extended flat area at an altitude of 308 m called "Ciegheza". From this point the route becomes a real path climbing the northwestern ridge of Mount Focone up to its summit (488 m). The route climbs down the opposite ridge until it joins again the 591 between Colla del Bagari and S.Antonio al Mesco.
