Ancient mule track linking the village of Volastra with the watershed Mare-Vara.
The path branches off from the path 506, a few steps beyond the built-up area of Volastra. The 585 climbs the chestnut wood on the south-east side of the Mount Le Croci. Then it reaches the southern slope of the Mount Capri, where the wood consists of chestnut trees and downy oaks. Below the Costa Galera pass the 585 joins the path 502 and then reaches the Sella, crossroads with the AV5T.
