Three hours of free Mountain Bike trails

With the purchase of a Cinque Terre Card you will be able to discover the nature beauties along the higher zones of the Cinque Terre territory, thanks to the bicycles available for a free three hours ride.

Free bicycle rides in the National Park with the Cinque Terre Card. With the ticket, released for the first time in 2001, tourists will be able to hike over all the path No.2, “Sentiero Azzurro”, and the National Park will invest the proceeds for the territory. The Cinque Terre Card now offers the opportunity to rent bicycles free of charge for the first three hours. The bikes, available at the refreshment stands in Telegrafo, Montenero and at the Tourist Reception offices near the railway station and in Lavaccio, Riomaggiore, can be rented for 1.50 € per hour.

To be able to use the bikes – not to be ridden in Via dell'Amore and path No.2 from Riomaggiore to Monterosso – it will be necessary to fill in a form with the personal data, leave a deposit of 50 € or an ID document. The recommended Mountain Bike trails run along the path No.1, on a 300 metres-high crest, with the starting point at Montenero Sanctuary.
