Altezza 5,7 Km    Tempo 3.30 h    Tempo 3.15 h    (>Legend)

Remember that the journey on the Cinque Terre National Park paths will always occur in good climatic weather conditions, with appropriate footwear and by people with good hiking practice.

From the pass of Cigoletta (m. 607) trail number 1 starts to climb in thick
Mediterranean maquis, mainly composed of heather, gorse and thorn strawberry/strawberry tree on the side of MONTE Gaginara (m. 771), then
proceeding horizontally to the MONTE Castello (m. 750) and Malpertuso (m. 812). Under way you see a appulso masonry signal for navigation. Place of convenient parking is, shortly after, the Plain of Corvara (also called Ciana da Cruva) at an altitude of 732, where it falls into path number 05, from Corvara and in which it flows, a hundred meters before trail number 06 climbing from Pignone. It can be useful to specify because descending briefly path number 06 we encounter a small source refreshing on the left of the mountain, above the trail. From Malpertuso Mount, the highest mountain in the crest of the Cinque Terre (m 812), as well as the entire arc from Portovenere to Levanto the trail descends steeply to sella di Drignana, and thus a sof ter trend toward Monte Santa Croce, which runs along the north side without touching the top. It is worthwhile to reach it  taking a well-marked trail in order to admire the small chapel in Santa Croce, a place of annual pilgrimage, which coincides with an exhibition of environmental protection forest. In the 90s, this mountain was devastated by several fires.
Left Monte Santa Croce, the trail n1 leads to the provincial Pignone - Levanto to Colle del Termine and runs up to the vicinity of the Santuario di Soviore.
