It is one of the important routes crossing the watershed Vara-Mare. The pedestrian way branches off from the 592 (Sentiero Verde Azzurro, meaning Green Blue Path) about 250 m far from the village of Vernazza. The route quickly climbs the ridge with panoramic view of the sea, then it goes up again and crosses some vineyards until it reaches a private road. Here one turns right and goes on up to the locality of Sella di Comenecco, where the path becomes less steep and the inn called Locanda Valeria is situated. One reaches the asphalted road (Provincial Road Corniglia) and crosses it up to the locality of San Bernardino.
