The short connection between trails 528 and 528V, known as Via del Predao, goes through abandoned sandstone quarries and follows an escarpment formed by quarry waste. Sandstone blocks would be let slide to the sea, and then uploaded on barges, to be delivered to building sites in Genoa and Argentina.
