Maintenance of the paths’ network in the Park: work in progress

(16^th November 2018) – inspection of the Park technical office on the road of Sanctuaries (path no. 530) to verify the electrical enclosure, damaged by trees' fall due to weather conditions.

Reinstatement will follow.

UPDATE ABOUT WORKS TO THE PATHS' NETWORK FOLLOWING RED WEATHER ALERT (29^th and 30^th October 2018)

(26^th November 2018) - Works on the paths' network greenery:

- cutting down of arboreal plants

- delimbing, sawing

- piling of resulting materials outside the track

UPDATE ABOUT WORKS TO THE PATHS' NETWORK FOLLOWING RED WEATHER ALERT (29^th and 30^th October 2018)

(12^th November 2018) The team made up of volunteers (hunting inspectors, Mangiatrekking and CAI) is working for monitoring and restoring the paths' network in the Park, following some bad weather conditions occurred in the previous days. Due to wind and rain, trees have fallen and they are being removed.

Some segments are already free from trunks:

• Path SVA no. 593 section Montenero - Riomaggiore

• Path no. 591 Colla di Gritta - Punta Mesco

• Costa di Tramonti – Paths no. 534 and no. 535

From Wednesday 14^th November 2018 the Firm CEMA will take care of cutting down some more precarious trees on the paths' network of the Park.

MONITORING OF THE PATHS' NETWORK BY CAI, FOLLOWING RED WEATHER ALERT (29^th and 30^th October 2018)

(1^st – 2^nd November 2018) on Thursday 1^st November the CAI branch of La Spezia started some controls on the Cinque Terre paths, damaged by a hurricane.

PUNTA CORONE PROJECT. MUNICIPALITY OF MONTEROSSO

The project by the Ingeo associated technical office has been approved, concerning the recovery, the reinstatement and the new instalment of wood and wood-steel parapets in Punta Corone.

RENEWAL OF THE PATH "LA BECCARA", no. 531 FROM RIOMAGGIORE TO MANAROLA:

(16^th November 2018), the Park Authority gives the final project regarding Path no. 531 to the Municipality of Riomaggiore

LAND MAINTENANCE BY SOME LOCAL FARMS ENROLLED IN PARK REGISTER

Up to now, 27^th June 2018, these works have been made:

Campogrande Farm made some works for reconstructing dry-stone walls along section SVA – 593C from Provincial Road to the Sanctuary of Madonna del Montenero;

Burasca Farm is working on the path 581 from San Bernardino to the Sanctuary of Reggio: beyond the reconstruction of some dry-stone walls, it is carrying out some natural engineering works for improving the most slanting paths;

Possa Farm has rebuilt dry-stone walls along the section of path SVA – 593 from Telegrafo to Riomaggiore, next to the Sanctuary of Montenero and along Via Grande
